A century ago, a young poet wrote desire in her own voice — and instead of scandal she earned a crown: an entire continent named her Juana de América. Among her verses there is a scene under a full moon: two lovers in silence at the water's edge, because she wanted it that way — the deepest things need no explaining. This piece carries that moon, and a blue point of that night.
